Hey you,
Out there in the cold,
Getting lonely, getting old,
Can you feel me?
Hey you,
Standing in the aisle,
With itchy feet and fading smile,
Can you feel me?
Hey you,
Don't help them to bury the light.
Don't give in without a fight.

Hey you,
Out there on your own,
Sitting naked by the phone,
Would you touch me?
Hey you,
With your ear against the wall,
Waiting for someone to call out,
Would you touch me?
Hey you,
Would you help me to carry the stone?
Open your heart, I'm coming home.

Have you ever had a dream, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world?

What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire deviant life, that there's something wrong with the story. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad.

You take the blue pill, the story ends. Your browser closes and you believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in wonderland. And, I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.

I offer only the truth, nothing more.

Fella Point Right spyed, nobody has ever done this before.
Ninja Point Right I know. That's why it's going to work.

Do not try and bend the spoon ...

pushitonme makes a good point, but when it comes to art, Maynard's usually pretty honest. I mean, you can completely expect him to lie about the meanings of songs, his past, how certain songs were designed (He claims Mantra is a recording of his Siamese cat being squeezed, slowed down. I don't buy it.), and so on. Anything else... well, I dunno. He doesn't seem the type to lie about stuff like this.

wow, that was a great note you left on cuttsy's site. i think that all of the tool project artists should really take that into account.

we must also remember, however, that no one can really take maynard seriously about anything he says. he's lied in the past and will continue to do so as long as he's pleased/humored by what he's doing. enough about that though. i'm just here to thank you for your words of advise for those of us in the project.
